Description

Deliciously wrapped asparagus spears in prosciutto and tallow, perfect for a savory appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 asparagus spears
  • 6 ounces prosciutto
  • 3 tablespoons beef tallow
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
  4. Melt the beef tallow and drizzle it over the wrapped asparagus.
  5. Place the asparagus wraps on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy.
  6. Serve hot as an appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
