Description

These Bacon & Jalapeño Drop Biscuits are fluffy, flavorful, and perfect for any meal of the day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and jalapeño.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the milk and melted butter.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
