Description

Delightful and easy Baklava Scrolls made with just five simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups chopped nuts (walnuts or pistachios)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup honey


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Butter a baking dish.
  3. Layer sheets of phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the phyllo layers.
  5. Roll the phyllo tightly into a log and slice into scrolls.
  6. Drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle sugar.
  7. Bake for about 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle more honey on top once out of the oven and allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon to the nuts.
