- 1 package phyllo dough
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cups chopped nuts (walnuts or pistachios)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Butter a baking dish.
- Layer sheets of phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the phyllo layers.
- Roll the phyllo tightly into a log and slice into scrolls.
- Drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle sugar.
- Bake for about 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle more honey on top once out of the oven and allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon to the nuts.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
