Description

Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast with Mozzarella Cheese is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender chicken with a flavorful balsamic glaze and melted mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, honey, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the balsamic mixture over them. Add cherry tomatoes around the chicken.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast, and return to bake for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
