- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup masa harina
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
- 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned.
- Add taco seasoning, salt, and pepper, then stir in diced tomatoes.
- In a bowl, mix masa harina with water to form a dough.
- Spread the masa dough into a greased pie pan.
- Layer the beef mixture into the crust and top with cheese and olives.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is firm and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
