- 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Rinse the beef tongue under cold water and trim any excess fat.
- Place the tongue in a pot of boiling water, and let it cook for about 2 hours or until tender.
- Remove the tongue from the pot and let it cool slightly.
- Peel off the skin and slice the tongue into thin strips.
- Season the slices with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Serve the seasoned beef tongue strips on a plate, optionally with toppings of your choice.
