- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix blackberries with a bit of sugar and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the blackberries.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dumplings are golden brown.
Notes
- Best served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
- Blackberries can be substituted with other berries.
