Description

Delicious and flaky pastries filled with a savory meat mixture, perfect for any meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and butter until crumbly.
  3. Add cold water gradually to form a dough.
  4. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. In a skillet, cook beef, onions, bell peppers, and garlic until beef is browned.
  6. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  7. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  8. Place filling in the center, fold and seal edges.
  9. Brush with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
