Ingredients

- 1 pound beef liver
- 1 cup bourbon
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the liver in bourbon for at least 1 hour.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized.
- Remove the onions and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the marinated liver and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Return the onions to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve hot.

- For a sweeter flavor, use caramelized onions.
- Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the liver slices.
