Description

A rich and flavorful dish featuring liver soaked in bourbon and sautéed onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef liver
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Marinate the liver in bourbon for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized.
  4. Remove the onions and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the marinated liver and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  7. Return the onions to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Serve hot.
