Description

A delicious and flaky pastry filled with cheese, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Bulgarian feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add water and vegetable oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  5. Cut the dough into squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of feta cheese in the center of each square.
  7. Fold the corners of the square over the filling and seal.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
