Description

These Cajun Style Fried Deviled Eggs are a delicious twist on the classic recipe, featuring a spicy filling and a crunchy fried coating.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs, cool, peel, and cut them in half.
  2. Remove the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, Cajun seasoning, and salt.
  3. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  4. Dip each filled egg half in buttermilk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the eggs until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
