Description

A delicious and unique treat, perfect for snacking or adding to desserts.


Ingredients

  • 4 lemons
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water


Instructions

  1. Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into quarters.
  2. Remove the flesh and pith from the lemon peels.
  3. In a pot, combine the sugar and water, then bring to a boil.
  4. Add the lemon peels to the pot and simmer for about 45 minutes.
  5. Drain the peels and let them cool.
  6. Coat the cooled peels in extra sugar.
  7. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Make sure to thoroughly remove the pith from the peels for the best taste.
  • These can be dipped in chocolate for an extra treat!
