Description

A savory and colorful appetizer torte packed with cheddar cheese and fresh vegetables, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or torte shell)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  3. Add in the diced red and green bell peppers, celery, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Press the pie crust into a tart pan and fill it with the cheese-vegetable mixture.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is set.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Serve chilled or at room temperature for best flavor.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
