A simple and delicious one pot recipe featuring ground beef, potatoes, and a creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream or cooking cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or deep pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the onion until soft, then add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  2. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in the paprika.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and pour in the beef broth. Cover and simmer on medium-low for 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the heavy cream and stir well. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, cover the pan, and let it melt for a few minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to use any cheese you prefer.
  • For a spicier version, add some chili flakes.
