A simple and delicious one pot recipe featuring ground beef, potatoes, and a creamy cheese sauce.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup heavy cream or cooking cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet or deep pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the onion until soft, then add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in the paprika.
- Stir in the diced potatoes and pour in the beef broth. Cover and simmer on medium-low for 15–20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the heavy cream and stir well. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, cover the pan, and let it melt for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to use any cheese you prefer.
- For a spicier version, add some chili flakes.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
