A creamy and easy recipe for Chicken Alfredo Sloppy Joes that combines the classic flavors of chicken alfredo with the convenience of a sloppy joe.

- 2 cups cooked shredded or diced chicken (rotisserie works great)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: a pinch of Italian seasoning
- 4 hamburger buns or sandwich rolls
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for another minute to form a roux.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 2–3 minutes).
- Add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and optional Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add the shredded chicken, stir to coat, and simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Toast the buns if desired, then spoon the creamy chicken mixture onto each bottom half. Garnish with parsley and top with the other half of the bun.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken saves time and adds flavor.
- Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste.
