  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional: a pinch of Italian seasoning
  • 4 hamburger buns or sandwich rolls
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Stir in flour and cook for another minute to form a roux.
  3. Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until it thickens (about 2–3 minutes).
  4. Add Parmesan, salt, pepper, and optional Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, stir to coat, and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  6. Toast the buns if desired, then spoon the creamy chicken mixture onto each bottom half. Garnish with parsley and top with the other half of the bun.
