Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup hazelnut paste
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar until dissolved.
- Add the hazelnut paste, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use quality hazelnut paste.
- This ice cream can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
