Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake with a gooey chocolate interior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Add heavy cream, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to the mixture and blend until fully combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  9. Serve chilled, optionally topped with chocolate ganache.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, add chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Make sure to not overbake the cheesecake to maintain its creamy texture.
