- 2 cups whipped cream

- 1 cup cherry liqueur
Instructions
- Cut the chocolate cake into cubes.
- In a trifle dish, layer half of the chocolate cake cubes.
- Pour half of the cherry liqueur over the cake.
- Add half of the cherry pie filling.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the cherries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with chocolate shavings and additional cherries.

- For a non-alcoholic version, replace the cherry liqueur with juice.
