Description

A festive dish featuring codfish, perfect for holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salted codfish
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Soak the codfish in water for 24 hours, changing the water several times.
  2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the soaked codfish.
  3. Cook for about 15 minutes, then drain and flake the fish.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  5. Add the flaked codfish, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
