Description

A delicious holiday side dish featuring Brussels sprouts roasted with maple syrup and fresh rosemary, garnished with walnuts for a crunchy texture.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are tender and caramelized.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped walnuts before serving.
