- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon to create your cinnamon sugar blend.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into squares, approximately 2 inches by 2 inches.
- Brush the edges of each square with the beaten egg to help seal them.
- Place a small dollop of melted butter and a sprinkle of the cinnamon sugar mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create little pockets and seal them by pressing down with a fork.
- Arrange the filled pastries on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with any remaining egg wash.
- Sprinkle the tops generously with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they puff up and turn a golden brown.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these delightful bites warm!
