Description
A refreshing and light tea sandwich made with cucumbers and cream cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 slices white bread
- 1/2 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and dill until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the cucumber slices on one slice of bread, and season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the second slice of bread, cream cheese side down.
- Cut the sandwich into quarters and serve.
Notes
- For a more elegant presentation, trim the crusts off the bread.
- These sandwiches are best served immediately, but can be made a few hours in advance and kept refrigerated.
