Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  5. In another bowl, mix shredded coconut and chocolate chips to make the topping.
