This delicious Coffee and Cream Coffee Cake features a rich coffee flavor complemented by a creamy frosting.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon additional brewed coffee (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the cooled coffee and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and additional coffee until smooth.
- Once the cake is cooled, frost the top with the cream cheese frosting.
- Slice and serve.
