Description

This Walnut Cinnamon Cake is the perfect sweet treat to enjoy on a cozy day. It’s rich in flavor and filled with the goodness of walnuts and warm spices.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
  7. Fold in the crushed walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.
