Description

Delicious and savory crab-stuffed mushrooms perfect for appetizers or party snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff the mushroom caps with the crab mixture.
  4. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top of each mushroom.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
  • These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
