Description

These succulent short ribs are elevated with a sweet and spicy cranberry chipotle glaze, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cranberry sauce, chipotle peppers, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub short ribs with the mixture and place them in a roasting pan.
  4. Add beef broth to the pan and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 3 hours, then uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier glaze, add more chipotle peppers.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
