Description
A simple and delicious recipe for making crispy baked potatoes in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Coarse salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat them dry with a clean towel. Pierce each potato a few times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil until fully coated. Sprinkle with coarse salt and pepper if desired.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for doneness by inserting a fork or knife—if it goes in easily, they’re ready.
- Slice open the potatoes, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your favorite toppings—like butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, or bacon bits.
Notes
- Ensure the potatoes are of similar size for even cooking.
- Experiment with different seasonings for varied flavors.
