Description

Delicious and crispy shrimp cakes, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse shrimp until coarsely chopped.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small patties.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add chopped chili or cilantro.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce for added taste.
