Description

Delicious and low-carb tacos served in crispy lettuce shells, filled with either seasoned beef or chicken.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or chicken
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8-10 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or chicken until fully cooked.
  2. Add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Simmer for another 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  4. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, then fill each leaf with the meat mixture.
  5. Top with cheese, tomatoes, onions, and sour cream if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
