Description

A delicious and flavorful Cuban Chopped Grinder Sandwich that combines layers of meats, cheese, and a tangy dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf Cuban bread or hoagie rolls
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices roast pork or pulled pork
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices salami
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together all grinder dressing ingredients until smooth.
  2. Chop lettuce, pickles, and red onion. Toss with some grinder dressing until well coated.
  3. Slice bread and layer with ham, pork, salami, and Swiss cheese.
  4. Add the chopped grinder salad mixture on top of the meats.
  5. Drizzle with extra dressing, press the sandwich together, slice, and enjoy!
