This moist and decadent Dark Chocolate Mocha Breakfast Bread is perfect for a special breakfast or brunch!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine coffee, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For an even richer flavor, add a dash of espresso powder to the batter.
- This bread can be served warm or at room temperature.
