- 1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 4 large egg whites
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift together the powdered sugar, almond flour, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add in the granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the meringue until well combined.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons sit for 30 minutes before baking.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool.
- For the filling, combine caramel sauce, butter, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
- Sandwich the caramel filling between two macaron shells to assemble.

- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
