Description

This Decadent Nutella Swirl Banana Bread is the perfect combination of sweet and rich chocolate flavor with moist banana bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda and salt to the banana mixture and mix well.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared pan and layer with half of the Nutella.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
  8. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate Nutella.
  • Make sure bananas are fully ripe for best results.
  • Store the banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
