- 1 pound thinly sliced beef
- 8 ounces provolone cheese
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- In a skillet, heat the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Layer the beef mixture and cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
- Top with the other half of the bread and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Slice into squares and serve with remaining broth for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or mushrooms to the beef mixture.
- Serve with a side of crispy fries for a complete meal.
