Description

A delightful and easy-to-make appetizer featuring savory beef, melted cheese, and a flavorful dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. In a skillet, heat the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until heated through.
  5. Layer the beef mixture and cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  6. Top with the other half of the bread and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  8. Slice into squares and serve with remaining broth for dipping.
