Description
A savory and creamy garlic beef pasta dish that’s easy to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss until coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired creaminess.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and enjoy hot.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
- For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
