Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss until coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired creaminess.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and enjoy hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
  • For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
