Description

These crackers are crispy, crunchy, and packed with flavor, perfect for snacking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the lentils and water and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  4. Drain excess water and let the lentils cool slightly.
  5. In a food processor, combine lentils, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, olive oil, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool, break into pieces, and enjoy!
