Description

Delicious deviled duck eggs elevated with homemade beef tallow mayo.


Ingredients

  • 6 duck eggs
  • 1/2 cup beef tallow
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish


Instructions

  1. Hard boil the duck eggs. Once cool, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the beef tallow, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mash the yolks and mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  5. Garnish with chopped chives.
