Description
A traditional Persian dessert made with rice flour, sugar, and milk, flavored with cardamom and served chilled.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rice flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup rose water
- 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine rice flour and milk. Whisk to avoid lumps.
- Add sugar and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in cardamom powder and rose water, and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
- Garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar according to your taste.
- For a richer flavor, you can substitute some of the milk with cream.
