Description

This Fresh Summer Basil Hummus is a delicious and refreshing twist on traditional hummus, packed with flavor and perfect for summer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water as needed for consistency


Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, basil leaves, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Serve in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with basil leaves.
