Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water as needed for consistency
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, basil leaves, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve in a bowl, drizzled with olive oil and garnished with basil leaves.
Notes
- Add more lemon juice for extra tang.
