Instructions
- Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it thinly.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the sliced cabbage and apples, stirring to combine.
- Stir in the apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, and allspice.
- Add water, cover the pot, and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cabbage is tender.
- Adjust seasoning as needed and serve warm.
