Description
A delicious side dish of glazed carrots cooked in Marsala wine and topped with crunchy hazelnuts.

- 1 pound carrots, sliced
- 1/4 cup Marsala wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook until carrots are tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the lid, season with salt and pepper, and let the liquid reduce to a glaze.
- Stir in the chopped hazelnuts and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve warm.

- To enhance the flavors, use fresh hazelnuts.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of Marsala wine.
