Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, salt, olive oil, and chopped rosemary to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or parmesan cheese to the dough.
- These rolls are best served warm.
