Description

Delicious and fluffy dinner rolls infused with the fragrant essence of rosemary, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 3/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, salt, olive oil, and chopped rosemary to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
  8. Place rolls on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder or parmesan cheese to the dough.
