Description

Delicious grilled octopus tentacles coated in a rich smoky butter.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound octopus tentacles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the octopus tentacles and simmer for about 45 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove the octopus and let it cool slightly, then cut the tentacles into pieces.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Preheat the grill over medium heat.
  6. Brush the octopus pieces with the smoky butter and place them on the grill.
  7. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred.
  8. Serve hot, drizzled with more smoky butter.
