These festive holiday pigs in a blanket are a delightful appetizer that combines flaky pastry with savory sausages, perfect for your holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 28 ounces cocktail sausages
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle into smaller triangles.
  3. Place a cocktail sausage and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll up the dough starting from the wide end.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and brush with Dijon mustard.
  6. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.
