Homemade Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls that Delight Every Bite!


Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead for 5–6 minutes, then place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter, then evenly layer strawberry jam, chopped strawberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll up tightly and cut into 9–12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until golden.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
