Deliciously tender gizzards coated in a sweet and tangy honey-garlic glaze.

- 1 pound chicken gizzards
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the gizzards and remove any excess fat. Pat dry.
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat and add the gizzards. Sear until browned on all sides.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Pour over the gizzards.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until tender.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Serve with steamed rice or on its own as an appetizer.
