Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 4 biscuits, split
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
- Roll out dough and cut into biscuits, placed on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- While biscuits bake, cook chicken thighs in a skillet until golden and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix hot honey and hot sauce, then drizzle over cooked chicken.
- Assemble the biscuits with the chicken and serve warm.
Notes
- Make sure to use cold butter for flakier biscuits.
- Adjust the amount of hot honey to your preferred spice level.
