Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast, let it activate.
- In another bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar.
- Add activated yeast mixture and vegetable oil to the flour mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the dough until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add more sugar to the dough.
- Serve warm for the best taste.
