Description

A delicious and flavorful dish featuring stir-fried rice mixed with grilled skewers, perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Chicken or beef skewers, grilled


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the beaten eggs and scramble until cooked. Remove from the pan.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
  5. Fold in the scrambled eggs and chopped green onions. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the fried rice topped with grilled skewers.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the skewers before grilling.
